Radio problems
Hi everyone, I'm new to the F150 world just bought a 2007 screw lariat 4x4. I love the truck but it does have one minor problem.
It has the factory 6 disc radio in the dash with steering wheel controls and aux input on the dash. The radio works fine, tuner and display both work great, however the aux input, steering wheel controls and nite illumination do not. When I press the aux button the radio cycles Sat1 Sat2 Sat3 never aux. I have put the radio through a self test and returned error codes b1342 and b2477, I know these are ecu and configuration errors.
Has anyone else had this problem and had it fixed? I believe a reprogram from the dealer will fix it, but looking for a second opinion before I spend the money to do so.
I've been all over these forums and have really benefited from the info in here. It's nice to have a resource like this for our trucks.

I would try just resetting the whole truck? It may or may not work, but IOM it's always worth a shot. No cost involved.
By that I mean disconnect the battery and let it sit for a half hour or so. Or just take the positive wire and touch the negative terminal on the battery (2 min rush job). That will reset the PCM, ECU, everything. Will it work? IDK, but it beats taking it to the dealer.
