Default Radio illumination wire

I Bought a JVC kw-nt30hd navigation unit and had it installed by some one and the did not connect the orange and white wire that is labeled (illumination Control) and it says to connect it to the light control switch. I looked at the wording diagram for the truck and It has a wire labeled car illumination Wire it is light blue and Red. Is this where I need to connect that to or can some one help me figure out where to connect it to so when the the headlights come one the display will dim?

You're correct.

In the audio section of this forum, all the Ford factory wires (color and description) have been posted several times. Do a search there if you need any additional clarification.

Well I tried that and it seems like that wire has voyage all the time causing the radio to dim no matter what. Is the radio looking for a 12 volt signal to activate that feature or a ground?
