radio help
Hey everyone
So my old deck died and i replaced it with a cheap one from amazon as its an older truck and probably wont have it much longer. Anyway, my problem that i am having is the radio will only turn on when the ignition is in the ACC position, the second that i turn the key to RUN it turns the screen to blue. I have the YELLOW wire coming off the wiring harness that is 12v constant with power(used a light probe and volt meter to confirm) and i have 12v coming from the RED wire on the wiring harness that is the ignition wire.
I have checked fuses, 1,7,22,31 and they are all fine. I have googled and looked at factory wiring diagrams and i am going to be replacing my wiring harness in case that is causing me an issue(doubt it but why not try it)
I am also sending the head unit back as i think it might be decfective.
Anyone have any insight or anything i could try?
