Default Quiet AT tires.

Bought my truck used and it had a brand new set of 305/65-17 ProComp Xtreme AT tires (and 17" ProComp wheels) on it. They hum too much for my taste so I put the stock wheels and tires back on it. I'm going to sell the wheels and tires on the truck and replace them with a set of 20" wheels and tires. Not sure if I am going to go with an AT tire or more of a sport truck type tire. Leading me to the these questions:

What is the quietest AT tire out there?
Will all AT tires hum as much as the Xtreme AT do?

Thanks in advance!

I've got the firestone destination A/T's in 255 70r 17.

I can't hear any kind of road noise with these tires so as far as noise goes, I highly recommend them.

I have not gone off-road or been through a winter with them yet, but so far so good. Oh ya, the price is pretty reasonable too.

I just put a set of Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour A/t on about 1500 miles ago.

0 Wear, 0 hum and just drove through 6 inchs of snow today and have no problems with the ice or the snow. They clean excellent and I got them pretty cheap on 18's. Best all terrian tire I have used yet.

I found they wore fast and they chunk really easy if you drive rough roads and gravel. Plus there way overpriced.

Check out the Goodyear wrangler AT/S or the wrangler silent armor, which is mostly a new version of the AT/S.

Another vote for BFG All Terrains! LOVE mine. Very quiet, great offroad and on road, and they looks great.
