Default Quick question.

What's up guys, quick question...anytime I shut one of my doors, not even slamming it, my passenger side light (in cab, can't think of the name) goes out for a second or two and comes back on, sometimes. Other times it'll stay off and I have to "tap" (punch) it. My dome light in the back also has a short or something, because the switch has to be in the right spot, just between always on and only on when the doors are open.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Or just don't worry about it? I'd like to fix it if I can. Thanks!

That of a 16 year old....there are none! Also, my dome light only stays on if you "balance" the switch to come on with the interiors, and it being always on...needless to say, pain in the butt.

Take down the rear dome and check for corrosion on the sworn and connections. On some models the cargo light outside leaks inside. My 2008 leaks the problems is you cannot see it leak. All these lights are linked but can be turned on individually.

I don't feel like going to any more shops....I've gotta have all this fender/bumper damage fixed first, and then start with all these other problems. I'll just get my uncle to help. He's a mechanic for Dodge.

If your uncle is a Dodge mechanic when is he ever going to find time away from work? I think you probably have a moisture corosion problem start with the dome light pull it down and clean the switch then go to the door switch squirt a little WD40 in it and work the switch by hand a few times last resort head on down to the U pullit yard and pick up another dome light. If the parts are corroded find the leak and fix it. Bubbabud
