Default Quick question

I have an 06 Screw with the 5.4 Anybody know what the steel tube that comes down beside the starter? It looks like it would be a breather tube or maybe the drain for the AC. I am getting a water leak in the passenger floor. Just want to see if the AC drain is plugged. Hope someone can help.
Thanks

It's a hardline tube coming down between the bellhousing and the exhaust pipe.
