ok tomorrow im going to a really good friends of the families big ford lot that he works at to get him to search around for a truck for me and see what he can find and what kind of deal he can get me. I know going to a dealer your going to lose somewhat just from the nature of the game but ive been searching privately forever and cant find what I want for the price, i know the magic problem right! and yes I know this depends on where you live and most will say check kbb but in my opinion it usually doesnt do a good job even when you put in your zip code. I just want to know what you all would pay for this truck if it was you looking for it and what would be too much. I have no idea what im going to get for my 03 lincoln ls v8 premium with lse wheels and 90,000 miles but that along with a small loan is what im using to try and get this truck. Im hoping for 8 grand on trade in for it because my uncle had almost the identical same car but with alil lower miles but it was a v6 and he got that for trade in so im hoping anywere from 7 to 8. sorry for the long post but im trying to get everything together for tomorrow morning. but im looking for either an 04 or 05 single cab 4x4. It has to have atleast under 90,000 miles and im wanting the xl trim package or the stx trim package just for price and manual everything which I kind of like and more than likely itll be the 4.6 just because there isnt alot of those with 5.4 motor. Like i said I know this depends on alot of thing but just looking for opinion. thanks Zach.

 

Whats the question? Is it on the trade-in value of the lincoln?
I got my truck for $20K out the door, and it was an xlt 4x4 loaded pretty heavy. You should be able to find something around $12-15k pretty easily, depends on how good friends you are with the dealer.

 

sorry for the confusion, I just got home and was typing real fast before hopin in the shower but no my question is what would be a fair price you all would pay and what would you not go over. looking for a 04-05 reg cab 4x4. either xl or stx trim package and has to be under 90,000 miles
