I have the Edge Evolution and love it. I can run codes, get readings of most everything and adjust for tire size. It does a lot more than I know. Hope this helps. I also got the pod for my dash so it is not stuck to my windshield. It looks like it came with the truck. If you look at my pics I have one of my tuner in the pod.

Just a head's up for anyone looking into tunes. I had an Edge and upgraded it to the Power Hungry Performance software. I ordered some custom tunes and they emailed me 3-4 weeks later that they were ready. For some reason my programmer would not connect to their servers so they told me to mail it in and they would load them onto it and send it back. Since it has been about 3 weeks, I asked for an ETA on when it would be sent back and they are saying that they don't know where my programmer is. Now I wish I had just kept the Edge programmer stock.

Duckin, sorry for your bad luck. Hopefully, you will get it resolved to your satisfaction.

FYI- I run a Livewire (for the backup cam) with 5 custom MPT tunes and have been blown away by both the tunes and their service. My 5.4 reminds me of a slightly detuned version of a badazz 7.3 diesel I had a few years ago. The torque in both 89 and 91 octane performance are unbelievable.

I have a Gryphon with tunes from PHP. Gotta say I love it. Definite improvement in smoothness of acceleration, even at very light throttle and crisper shifting.

If they don't do that, you may have to try sending back to the manufacturer to reset at a cost.
Gotcha. Thanks

Do you have to keep the Gryphon plugged in all the time or can you tune it and unplug it?

Why would you want to?

You can run up to 4 gauges simultaneously with almost any engine parameter you want, review and clear codes on the fly and change your tune if needed. Add to this you can get a decent on dash pod to put it and why not leave it in place?
Like this. . .
