quick 3in leveling kit question

Question quick 3in leveling kit question

i understand that you put the 3in spacers on the top of the front shocks, but how in the hell do you raise the back?! im confused!

The front spacer isn't actually 3" becouse it's not a 1:1 ratio. For the rear though you would just put a block under your leaf spring, or add a leaf to your springs.

I would put the level kit on first and then measure to see if you need the block.

if i do the so called 3in lift kit to the front, how much would i need to do the back?

Best way to figure it out is to measure from the ground to the fender. I would put the kit on first though and see if you want one. Also is the back of your truck lowered now?

go check with autozone or an advanced auto im pretty sure a block and u-bolt kit is cheaper there

The block for these trucks are different though. They have two holes drilled in them so they can bolt to the leafs.
