Default Question for the mechanics

The automatic headlights on my 2006 fx4 stopped working. When I switch to the parking light, manually switch to headlights and the fog lights all work. Any ideas what would cause this??

Do your dash lights dim when you're in the dark without turning on the lights? If not, suspect your light sensor on the dash.

Is it difficult to replace the sensor? I'm truly a non-mechanic and usually screw something up when I try to fix something.

Try cleaning it off first, it might have some dust or cleaning product or some other crap on it

Oh, one more thing - also try either pulling the fuse or disconnecting the battery to reset it.

Will do. I don't see in the manual where it indicates which fuse. Would you happen to know which one it is?
