I have an 05 XLT 4x4. From what I read on here, I need a 2.5" leveling kit to make it level. Will that change at all after it gets aligned? I measured the distance from tire to wheel well and the difference between the front and back was 3". Should I still go for the 2.5"?

 

Get 3" if you want I suppose. I just know I got 2.5" because anymore and that's more stress on your ball joints. But after its aligned thats when it will be the full 2.5" or 3"

 

I'd prefer to go with the 2.5" for that very reason, and also because I don't want to risk the front sitting higher than the back.

 

2.5 will level 04-05, I believe 2" will level 06-08.....someone correct me if I'm wrong ( Ik you will anyway lol)

Lmaoooo, putting my 2.5" in this Saturday....finally....then mounting my 305/70/17's that have been sitting in my living room for the last month, damn house smells like tire kingdoms showroom lol
