Default Question about the GOTTS mod

No, no don't worry! I'm not asking about how to do it or MPG gains, but rather...Why is it named the GOTTS mod? Curious mind...

Did you remember to disconnect the battery so the computer would reset?

Yep, go to the actual thread for the Gotts mod. Just as many have issues as it works. Some trucks like it alot and others it ruins, mine wouldnt hardly idle with the thing in there. Put the factory back in and purrs like a kitten.

It can make the 5.4L run lean but the 4.6L doesnt have problems. I did it to my 4.6 and only saw a little better throttle response.

I've heard the name came from the member on here that had "Gotts" in his name and that's where it comes from

I guess it's up to each drivers lead foot to determine if they like it or not. I, on the other hand am a fan of the CAI. I had a K&N on my Dodge 5.9 and my high school car, Nissan Maxima 3.0. This is a first where I've read of a vehicle running lean do to a CAI. So I'm hesitant to throw one on yet, but a drop in filter and the GOTTS couldn't hurt the bank if I need to uninstall it. Decisions, decisions...
