Default Question about the 4.6L

I've got another post going on the spark plug issues in the 4.6L, and I read that the 4.6L in my stx is also the same 4.6L in the mustang. Could I improve my power by using mustang parts? My main 3 wants are new dual 16-inch cooling fans, a large throttle body, and maybe a set of headers (which I'm not sold with all the way). i know now there are companies making these products for my truck, but if I wanted to add another part, and they didnt have one for the F-150, but for the Mustang, would it work? Would it damage my truck?

the 4.6l in the cars is a modular engine... the TRITON line came when they decided to put modular engines in trucks!
the car 4.6 and the TRITON 4.6 are not completely interchangable!!!

The Triton V8 that comes in the trucks also has a taller intake designed to make more torque.

Here ya' go man. We had a thread about this a few months back. It should definitely answer your questions.
