Default Question about 163" wheelbase...

Was this usually a special order from the factory? I haven't seen any when I was in the market for a truck a few years ago on any lots. Anyone have one and do you find any troubles parking, maneuvering, etc?

It is: Supercab 8' bed and Crewcab 6.5' correct for 04-08's?

Those are not bad to park at all. The supercab 8ft bed are more common but mostly XLs. The crew 6.5ft are very rare. But go figure after i buy mine with a 5.5ft i find one for 1k more with half the miles.

Parking is not bad at all but i have owned crew 8ft bed f350s. F150s are still small to me.

Goddamn I wish I had a 6'6" bed in my crew cab! But then again if they were that rare then it would be very difficult to have found an exhaust for it. I just think the 5'6" bed is just too small.

Especially with a tool box in the bed!

ive got a crew cab with the 6.5 ft bed. its a 150" wheelbase for the 06-08 models. im in southern california and i see them all the time. i was actually looking for one with the 5.5 ft bed but couldnt find any fx4s i liked so i ended up with the 6.5 bed. this is my second crew cab/6.5 bed 150 and i love it. cant fit in my garage, but the utility of the full size bed is great.

when i bought my jba exhaust system, the kit i got was for a super cab with 8ft bed. i just had to cut off a few inches from the intermediate pipe to make it fit.

im happy with my set up. its not hard to park, and i also have a 6 in pro comp lift on it. truck looks killer with the bed size and lift kit.

Wish I had an 8 footer on my Scab. The 6.5' fits most things I need, though.

I have the 8 ft ext cab with an 8 ft bed. Heavy half with 3/4 ton suspension and drivetrain. My ONLY complaint is the limited amount of wheel selection for the 7 lug pattern

Heres my 06 screw with the 6.5 bed. I waited till 06 because I heard they were coming out and the 5.5 would have been to short. Im so used to it it seems short now.

Love my Screw w 6.5' bed. I can drive and park it like its a Prius, no problem.

It's 22' long so parking in a standard size garage isn't an option, plus with the 6" lift it's now 7 foot tall.
