Default Quality brakes

Time to change pads and rotors front and rear. Been searching online and my total always comes between $400-$500. Ceramic pads and dimpled/drilled and slotted rotors. A friend of mine was bored and went to ebay. I still can't believe this (my reason for asking your input) but a complete set exactly what I'm looking for is "buy it now" for $197. Multiple listings for the same thing by the same company. Read the listing up and down to make sure it included EVERYTHING for front and rear and it does. If anyone can leave me there feedback about manufacturer and quality I'll post the link at the bottom, or other good deals for parts that will last. Seems to good to be true? Thanks everyone.

I bought that exact set of brakes and I have to say that there is much less brake dust then the original pads, but for some reason my front left rotor is scared from the friction of the pads. It shouldn't be scared at all in my opinion and I might change the pads for better quality ceramic pads. If i were you, order only the discs and get good pads from any local shop you know

I bought my set up from Tire Rack. Power Slot Rotors & Hawk LTS pads. With some misc supplies it was around $650 for my brake job with me doing the work.

I would be very hesitant to trust my brakes to ebay. I am sure it is more than fine... just personally makes me nervous. 5500# on eBay brakes? ::shrug::

I do not know the brand, but I would think that they are a low quality Chinese product. I would not get cheap on something as important as brakes. The 5-10 feet in less stopping distance, that a better quality brand will provide, could prove to be the difference in avoiding a collision.

Sounds like my factory brakes!
Tire Rack doesn't sound bad, just check prices!
Make sure your install is good.
Pay the price for good brakes and good tires!
If your truck don't run, so what. You will live to talk about it.
Tires or brakes, well...........

sounds like a great price but do you really want to depend on cheap rotors?

the brake pads listed in the auction are decent quality, but the no name brake rotors has me worried. you might be able to get away with using a cheap rotor when it's a solid disk, but when you start cross drilling and slotting rotors you then have to use a better metal material in order to prevent cracking between the drilled holes, which could lead to a major brake failure under heavy loads.

i can provide you with quality name brand braking products at a price cheaper then most major online retailers, send me a private message if you want a price quote.

I think I bought those, not sure if it was evolution pads or powerstop. But noisy and warped after about 10,000 miles. I going to either napa premium or orielly's lifetime warranty. They claim if warped they will replace for life.

Get a quality rotor, on that will resist warping! Don't put cheap ones on because they will warp, and when they do you will be doing pads and rotors again.
