Purchasing tires off eBay or amazon

Have a look at the good year duratrac. Awesome tire for off road yet surprisingly quiet on road. Great all around tire. But they a little pricy.

I actually just requested a quote for the rugged terrain from mr wheel deal so we will see if e can even get them.
4wd doesn't have 275/70r18 rugged terrain listed in their site

I went with the Goodyear Wrangler Adventure AT's. I thought of it as a happy medium, but better for me since I rarely drive off road. I really like them so far. I think I saw them around $255/ea for the size mentioned above.

I've ordered off ebay also, but they were from discounttiredirect ... FYI Discount Tire Direct and Discount Tire are the same company. One only ships online, while the other has physical stores to go to.

thanks for the info guys. Mr. Wheel Deal seemed like a very helpful and legit guy who responded very quick to my quote request for the tires, but he was unable to beat other prices i have found...he wanted $949 + $138 shipping...NO WAY was I paying that for rugged terrain tires!
I ended up purchasing a set of rugged terrains online from walmart (i know, i know), but they were $860 shipped to my local store. I could not pass that up.
Heres the thing...I am also purchasing MB TKo wheels from discount (they are currently on their way to the store). Will they make me pay a higher mount and balance fee because I did not buy the tires from them? even though I tried to and they werent available? and even though I purchased wheels through them? I have been hearing stories about people paying $130+ to mount/balance wheels at DT that were purchased elsewhere...
