Default pulling the pig tail

I have a 2008 f150 that I just bought, I am trying to wire it to my camper but I can't find the wire that goes from the truck to the brakes in the camper. any suggestions?

it appears to have the tow package, the 4 pin plug was there so I bought an adapter to go to the 7 pin on my camper, my problem is I can't find the blue wire for the trailer on the truck, there is a fuse in the fuse box for it so I assume the wire is there somewhere.

It should be in the wire harness at the back of the truck. You need the correct harness to switch to the 7 pin connector. This harness should plug in line in the wire harness with a T connector.

Everything should be there already.

If you have the tow package, you should already have the 7 pin connector on the truck. It sounds like you don't.

Thanks gentlemen for the responses, I did finally find it. For future reference should anybody ask, it is over the drivers side of the rear axle. there is a block of wires and the trailer brake wire terminates in that block. It took a while but was worth the wait.again, thanks for the information.
