Default Painting Headlight Housing

Hi guys -I've read a ton of threads about different methods for painting the chrome headlight housing and I'm thinking about doing this mod. My only issue is that I'm not a huge fan painting it black, since I have the Lariat SCrew in Medium Wedgewood Blue with Arizona Beige two tone. I just don't think it would look great in black. Ideally, I'd like to paint them the same color as the truck. So 2 questions:

1. Has anyone painted their headlight housing to match the color of their truck? If so, any pictures would be appreciated.

2. I'm looking at Duplicolor's Color Match spraypaint. Has anyone used this and do you recommend it?

Thanks,

NOOB

I've seen a couple trucks and also a couple Jetta's doing what you've mentioned and it does look good. Im not sure what paint they used but there's an Oreily's auto parts around here that can mix up your factory paint in a spraycan and it matches pretty good

decided to paint the trim black with Rustoleum's Peel Coat, and ordered black headlight housings.

My 2 cents but........unless your truck is black, DO NOT color match your headlight housings. It looks hideous. Just my opinion to all you flamers.

The white one looks really good, that red not so much. How would you get in there to even paint them?
