I will never own another vehicle without it. Once you drive behind top quality projectors, you're hooked.

That's true too, now that you have this "up-scale" lighting, you feel blind, or lacking when you drive anything else. I drive several different vehicles throughout my work day, and it messes with me sometimes. I think that I would be happy to do this for anyone, but I will not do OEM headlights. The glue that OEM has is a bit*h. Aftermarket housings might be cheaper quality, but once you do this mod you can correct their shortcomings and seal them up better. IMO

On another note... I have a set of housings (harley replica - ebay) that I would like to get rid of. I will do the same mod and add the projector, bulbs etc... Ready to PNP if anyone is interested in buying them? I like doing this sort of thing, so I would be glad to help anyone who doesn't want to do it themselves.
Id be interested depending on cost

Email TRS and ask for their "value" miniH1 projectors. they have a minuscule blemish that isn't even visible (I couldn't find it on mine). The value projectors are $75 for the pair, and you need a pair of H1 bulbs which are $15 a pair from them. They have free shipping, so you are looking at $90 and maybe 3-4 hours maximum of your time. If you don't want the blemish, the Mini H1 projectors are $125 for the pair, with bulbs will run you $140 shipped.

[QUOTE=mSaLL150;[/QUOTE]

you will need the h13 adapter too right? i would much rather dish out the 295 for the bigger shrouds and morimoto kit and have everything new so you can take advantage of their warranty too..

You can certainly do that, but if you don't want to dish out the extra cash and already have a kit... It's really all about personal preference.

The H13 adapter is just a little ring that fits into the H13 hole on the back of the housings. In a nutshell it aims the projectors for you so you don't have to eyeball it, adjust, eyeball it, adjust etc... It really saves a LOT of time and work.

Another GREAT thought I just had... Why don't I use the H13 adapters that came with my DDM kit to begin with and slide the projector thread through that!? Wouldn't that ensure a water tight seal and near perfect aim!? I will be sure to include this possibility in my full write up when I get the housings and projectors Friday. I will put the pix up, and WILL NOT take them down, so anyone wanting to do this will have a REAL F150 reference instead of "guessing" how to do it based on another car... So, saturday, be looking HERE for the write up with pix.

For the night shots you requested... Here ya go:

Now, I have since moved the bulbs a bit, and aimed them. so everything is perfect now and my hot spot is back on alignment.
