question. I just installed HID H13 kit in my truck. Im interested in getting similare after market headlights. Will hids work with CCFL halo projectors? Will there be an issue with them fiting or are they even designed for bulb install head light when it comes to the main. It looks like on the installation video the the halo is part of the new head light?

Are you talking about lights you would get off of something on ebay or amazon, or something that someone has built? Most of the aftermarket lights you will find on eBay or amazon do not use the stock/h13 bulb either. As far as the ccfl halos go, they are entirely different from the h13 bulb. There would be zero interference whatsoever with the bulb and the halo?

Does that answer your question?

As for the aftermarket headlights, The Spyder brand projectors use 9006 bulbs and the high beam bulbs are H1. So your H13 HIDs will be useless in Spyder projector headlights. I have HIDs in the low beams (9006 bulb) on my Spyder headlights, and the projectors throw the light evenly and they are much brighter compared to the halogens they came with. I've also heard that HIDs in a reflector lens is illegal, but if you have HIDs in a projector housing, it's legal because the glare is cut down to nearly nothing since the bulbs are not exposed. Whereas HIDs in reflectors are very blinding to oncoming traffic because of the intense glare off the bulbs themselves plus the reflectors.
Also, some vehicles with OEM projector lenses actually have HIDs in them from the factory.

TPDM04, do you have the link to those lights?

Also I would avoid ebay lights, especially DT Moto. I had a set on for less than 500 miles (normal city driving) and the low bean doesn't work anymore on one light. 3 out of the 4 clips that hold them in broke. And another mounting piece broke creating a hole in the headlight. DT moto on ebay told me to just buy another set. So now I am looking for a good quality halo set.

Yeah I got them off Amazon direct from spyder http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0074BRMKY/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?pc_redir=1387822438&ref_=pd_s bs_auto_1
If the smoked ones don't come back in stock they also make black ones too which are the same as mine, only black.
They seem like high quality lights too.
