Default Sneak Peek: Dirt King Fab 04-08 Long Travel System!

Got some new pictures from our friends down at Dirt King Fabrication in San Diego, CA. These guys have been building suspension kits for years and have been busy working on a new 2004-08 Ford F150 long travel system that is 100% bolt and and will retain 4wd. This kit is compatible with both 2wd & 4wd trucks These systems will work with factory or aftermarket spindles.

The ride quality of this kit is awesome and does not compare to a lift kit.

We will be running an introductory group buy special once the rest of the components arrive and are ready for shipping!

What kind of price range are we looking at here? How much lift?

Depends on options. The basic 2wd kit will retail at 2575 and includes upper + lower arms, 4140 steering extenders, extended stainless brake lines & all hardware. All you need is shocks! I would budget about 4000 for a complete 2wd setup, although our intro pricing should save you a few bucks!

I'm interested to know how much wider this would make a stock truck and how much travel. Thanks.

3.5" over stock. Depends on if you are 2wd/4wd, what shocks you run, how the bumps are setup etc.

So how much would it be for a 4wd complete kit? Assuming that there is a basic 4wd system based on "basic 2wd kit."

I heard they are releasing this soon. Should be based around an oem replacement coilover correct?

Axles will retail for $599 for both 04-08 and 09+. They will be 4340 heat treated.

the prototype 04-08 kit is being tested now and we will have 2 kits ready to ship in about 2 weeks. This is based on an OE replacement coilover, a 8" can be used with a coil bucket mod as well.

Does that mean you can run a Raptor spec 10" without the 'coil bucket mod'? I say Raptor spec because 90% of the 10" travel coilovers out there for F150's are for Raptors. It could also mean 3.0's meant for Raptors would fit.
