Default How to replace the map light?

Just got a new to me 2007 F150, and I'm working out the little issues that the previous owner couldn't be bothered with.

I'm sure it's really easy, but how do I get into the overhead map light to replace a bulb?

Yup. Don't be scared. It might pop a little but just keep pulling. I can remember if it has tabs, but just be careful lol

Pull from the side towards the windshield, kind of pivot/roll it towards you.

Just pull the thing off. Trust me, I have had mine off twice. Pull straight down firmly and it will come off. Not rocket science I promise.

Thanks guys. Got it off. Now just need to pick up some bulbs from the auto store.

I've done all kinds of stuff on my 2008 mustang, and know that pretty much all the interior pieces on that just pop off, but this took a little more force than I remember on that, but I guess I should expect a bit more firm of a fit in a truck.
