Go sct. Ive never heard of anyone having issues with them. I have heard of people having issues going back to stock with edge, although there are very few that I have heard of.

 

A regular old Edge Evolution can be converted to a Gryphon free of charge, each custom tune is $40 from PHP. Thats what I have and love it. I made the mount myself.

 

Looks like the radar detector is scanning the sky for police signals!

edge CTS here, got on ebay used and it is by far the best thing I have done to the truck. It was like a new truck. all of the things I didn't like about it were gone.

 

I have a SCT Livewire mounted in an Edge dash pod with 5 MPT custom tunes. It is by far the best mod I have done.

My everyday is 89 performance tune. I put it back to stock last weekend to see the difference and told myself I'd sell the truck if that's how I had to run it. HUGE difference!

ps. using the programmer as my back up camera screen.

 

I used a piece of flat steel and bent it to a lazy s shape with my vise. I mounted it by removing my sun-visor and drilled a hole in the end of the mount and ran the factory sunvisor screw back in to place. The mount sits between the headliner and roof. Very easy to do. Took like 20 minutes.

I watched eBay for over one a year till I got a deal on one used with dash pod, cd, book, and sticker decals for $275.00 it definitely gives the truck an "edge" over stock for sure.

Just make sure if it's used that the previous truck was set back to stock.

 

My next Amazon order will have a backup camera to hook into my CTS.
