Default Programing Door Remotes

About six months ago I purchased a 2004F-150 FX-4. It didn't come with a door remote, so I purchased a set on Amazonfor $10.00. I could only get one of them to work, and it worked fine for about3 months. I tried re-programming and the doors will cycle after the eighthturn, but nothing happens when I push the key fobs. I figured that maybe I need new remotes and purchased a new one fob andsame thing (the truck enters the program mode but the fobs won't work). Themanufacturer even sent me a new one to try and same thing.

Is there need to change the frequency on the remotes, not all four remotes couldbe bad? Why did it work for three months and then stop. Frustrated…..

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

As long as you open the driver door and hit the lock button then turn the key to run (I believe 8 times) within 10 Seconds then the doors will cycle, then you have 20 seconds to hit the unlock button on the key pad. It took me a couple tries to get it right but that's how it works,

Maybe spend a little more than $10 on your FOBS
