Default Power window switches

Hey guys I just bought a 2005 kingranch today an I love it but there's a problem with the windows sometimes they work fine then the others time they won't role up an ill have to turn the truck off and turn it back on(just the battery) and then they might role up and when they do it's really slow and the switches dim I could use a little help

You may need a new switch if its only the drivers side.
Do a search on here. There are many threads on the window switches.

The ground for all the switches goes through the driver switch. You likely have loose or broken wires between the door and frame.

^X2 on that, my old expedition had the same issue, depending on how hard I would slam the door shut decided on if my windows would go up or not. Took me a while but I found that the wires were almost separated between the door and frame. By the time I found it, I had already put a new switch in and it still didnt work.

so I need to check the ground wire in my drivers side door

I would start by checking all the wires coming through the door.
