power steering pump ?

Default power steering pump ?

anybody familiar with replacing the power steering pump on 2004 f150 fx4 ? seems to steer hard at parking speeds... am i in right direction ?

Any CEL? Computor is supposed to kick up engine idle when PS is used. Any noise in PS pump? Fluid level OK? If pump is at fault, check with auto parts if the pulley comes on the pump. Used to require special removal and installation tools.

check youre steering shaft before you just go and replace the pump, I have replaced a few for very hard steering. Spray a little lube on it and see if it frees up a little ( the lower ujoint in the shaft )

no noise, fluid level in resevoir was a bit low ( topped off now ), no leaks....will try to lube steering shaft...thanks for the tips !
