What do you mean you can't get it connected, what seems to be the problem?

I'll have to see it, I can't even go look at it as my truck is still in the shop, could be needs a special tool. It's not impossible, shops do it everyday, we just gotta find the way or find the guy that knows. I'm of the mentality that if someone else can do it then I can do it, just gotta figure it out. What the Haynes manual say about taking it off?

Ok so y'all made me a little nervous and like I said I can't go look at it cuz it's at the dealership, but I have been on google for the last 3 hours looking for someone else with the same problem, I found a how to a minute ago and it basically says you need line wrenches, that's all it says, so that will be my first attempt. I will update when I get the part in and get started. Seems like a lot of people have had this problem with the line so I will be sure to do a step by step walk through

Well got the ol girl back yesterday and thank god she is driving like a caddy again... I couldn't be happier. The dealership told me there was a leak in the high pressure line, I looked and didn't see anything, and I was checking my fluid a lot before I got the pump fixed, the fluid level was never low... I'm starting to wonder if they were just trying to dick me for 500 bucks... Hmm

So I got the pressure line in, haven't changed yet but from looking its quite simple I believe the problem you are having is to get to the line you have to remove the pulley, once you do that you should have no problem removing the fitting from the pump. The pulley does take a puller but that should be cheap at any parts store, hope this helps...
