Default Power Mirrors

I just got a 2005 F150 screw 4x4 and it barely fits in the garage. It has power, heated mirrors but they don't fold when I oull back on the mirror control. Is it possible that they aren't power folding? It's a Lariat.

Could you even get power folding mirrors on F150's? Usually there is a seperate button to fold in the mirrors on other cars that shows a pic of a mirror with an arrow in some respect.

Default Folding mirrors

Yep, I have the control and it's in the neutral position. I checked the fuse and it's not blown. I guess I'll have to contact the dealer with the VIN and see if I have power folders. ir take the mirror off and see if there is a motor in it. Thanks

the mirror itself will say powerfold with an icon instead of having the the heated mirror icon on them. I wondered if mine had heated mirrors at first because it didn't say heated or have the square with the squiggly lines anywhere, and it has rear defrost instead of the slider (the rear defrost button replaces the heated mirror button). Anywho, if its powerfold it will say it (and it will still be heated despite no indication of such)

Lariats didn't come with the power fold option in 05. The first to get this option was the King Ranch, but I'm not sure if they even had this option in 05

Good point...didn't think about that. Mine is an 07 KR. Not to hijack, but does anyone know about the auto-tinting (electrochromatic?) drivers side mirror? Mine has it and I was wondering if they are both supposed to be or just the drivers side?

I believe the mirror adjustment **** will have this same symbol by it if you have the folding mirrors.
