Default Power Losses

Between my Grandfather and I in the construction business, we have had at least one F150 of each model year from 1985 until 2006. The one's I've loved have made it and I have no interest in another manufacturer, ever. My 1994 made it 464,000 miles on one 302ci engine and one 4 speed auto, before it was totaled by one of my employees and driven home where she sat until crushed. The problem I have now is on my 2006. She was getting 15mpg when I got her (28k mi) then I tuned and installed a CAI when she went back up to 18mpg where she stayed until the spark plug dilemma. After fixing that, I was up to 17mpg again and still around 280HP but these last few tanks I've been averaging 12-13mpg and falling. Any suggestions on how to get her back in shape?

Id say Fuel filter, new air filter or clean the one you have if depending on brand, change damn near every fluid in in the truck, run a good fuel system cleaner

O2 sensor maybe, fuel filter or clogged injectors run some fuel system cleaner through it if it has a new fuel filter and your air filters clean also if you haven't ever clean your MAS- mass airflow sensor

Thanks for the help! I swapped the air filter, ran seafoam in the oil and in the fuel tank, and swapped the fuel filter. The fuel filter poured nasty thick black chunks out, I'm thinking that MAY have a lot to do with it. I did all that and topped off, she already feels better on the throttle, we'll see how the mpg numbers come out.
