Default compressor?

I've always wondered, do you have to drain your tank, or can you you keep it full. Just thinking about my 26 gal that it would be nice to have the air ready instead of waiting to fill. Now I only use it once a week, and I don't need it rusting prematurely. Thanks.

I drain the air when I'm done using it and drain the water once a month. It's not good for it to leave it full of air.

compressed air especially in humid environments = water in the tank and that leads to rust and frozen air lines, best to drain your tanks every day and refill them when you are headed out, no reason not to have air on hand but you should make sure they have been drained
