has anybody power coated their wheels?

 

I have...with brake dust powder!

Ohk...that was lame. Powder-coated wheels...interesting idea. Wouldnt that be expensive?

 

A couple guys on here have already. I am sending mine out next week to be powder coated black. There will be pics when they are done.

 

Cool definitely post up pics. I was thinking of getting new wheels but I like my stock ones but I didn't want to paint them. I just wasn't sure if power coating them would look good too. I think it'll be cheaper than buying new wheels

 

Powder coat looks great. I have had a coupl eof sets done to get away from the silver look before the painted wheels were a trend. I still have a set on my sister's tahoe that were done back in 2002 and they still look amazing. They are also way more durable with the powder coat and clean up nicely with soap and water.

The chromes flaking off my rims so i've been thinking about having them powder coated for a while. Id love to see some pics if anyone has done it
