If you are referring to a tuner/programmer....then no. The $69 ebay knock off tuners that promise 75 horses and 5 mpg saving are a rip off, only make your truck faster by making your wallet lighter.

Any decent brand tuner/programmer is gonna run you on average $300 on up.

What year/engine are you looking to tune?

 

Chips are for Dip....save your money for a throttle body spacer...lol

Yeah with the tornado and chip you got a 400hp F-150 that will get ya 25mpg all day!!!

 

Snake Oil. Don't do anything with a Hydrogen cell either. The dudes on this forum are poking fun, but they are providing good information. Best things you can do for your truck are a tuner/programmer (edge, SCT, Bullydog, etc.), CAI (whether it's the Gotts Mod or an ACTUAL CAI), good fluids, a tonneau cover, and regular maintenance will get you your MPGs and your power.

I asked about the Hydrogen Cell when I was a noob, then we changed the conversation to Flux Capacitors. If you find a Flux Capacitor, make sure it allows you to get 1.21 gigawatts. If it does, at 88 Miles Per Hour, you'll see some serious Sh**.

What amazes me is the number of satisfied customers that buy those off eBay! Are they fake feedback replies? Too embarrassed to give a bad review and reveal that they were duped? What gives?
