Default Possible to add 4x4???

I found a sweet deal on a truck here in MN. However it's 2wd..... And during the winter months 4x4 is needed.

Is it possible to convert it into 4x4 and if so how spendy??

It's easier and from what I've always been learned cheaper to buy a 4x4.

And coming from someone who converted auto to manual... I wouldnt mess with drivetrains like that again.

Wiring wiring wiring wiring wiring.

Completely new front end. Different tranny. Different driveshafts. Probably a different crossmember. All kinds of stuff

I bought my Mach 1 for 10000, put 5000 into changing it over. Coulda bout a manual for. 13.

You'll also have to do the PCM.

Well, I got a t/c for my 97 Dakota, that was 800 dollars. The trsnny for the mustang was I think 600 from a junkyard. Drive shaft was 200. And you'll still need wires and a whole new front end. Plus time put in.

Unless you have a donor truck and can do all the work yourself, its not worth it to convert
