Default popping front end!!

So i am at my witts end my truck has this popping noise in it and i cannot figure out what it is! I have put new upper and lower ball joints, new bilstein 5100 struts, and its still doing it i cannot figure it out. There is no certain thing i can do to make it pop. It mostly pops when im backing into a parking spot and turning or braking hard. Sometimes all i have to do is turn and it does it. The noise is like a metal on metal pop or clunk if you will. Any ideas or thoughts on what this could be guys?

Check your end link bushings also. They are attached to the stabilizer bar.

would that cause it to do that even at a slow turning speed or braking?

Check to see if you have play in your wheel bearing. Tie rod ends good? Sway bar end links good? Did you have this noise before replacing your struts and ball joints?

Yes. That is when I heard mine the worst is when I was turning and/or braking.

I have a write up on here somewhere on how to replace them.

A good way to check is to have someone pick up and rock the truck from your driver or passenger side front fenderwell and see if you can hear any popping. Get up under the truck while its being rocked and see if you can actually feel the popping in any of your end links.

Had the same problem - at times it almost sounded like studs were snapping off when turning. Ended up being a wheel bearing. Tricky things with bearing assy's on these trucks - bearing can be completely shot, but roll smooth and quiet on the lift during a traditional bearing check. Gotta check it for play. They can throw your ABS system in a tizzy as well.

so how do i check them for play other than wiggling my wheels? The other day i was setting in traffic i could turn the wheel to one side and it would pop, and then i turned to the other and it would pop as well. But now i cant make it do that again its just so sporadic! lol
