I was going to ignore another "my motor makes a noise" thread until I read your comment.
This thread is justifiable. ha

Hard to tell if it's upper or lower. Could be a roller follower stuck after it ejected from where it belong or a rod knock.
Like Darrin mentions, it's time to pull the valve covers and start there. If nothing evident, time to decide if it's worth inspecting any further.
Maybe a quick thing is to check oil -is there any? If not -add it and see if noise gets any better. Of course your first expense is then a few quarts of oil.

Sorry about that. I feel for you.

I will pull the valve covers tomorrow and check it out, I just got a fresh oil change about a month ago. I did check the oil and it looks good and the dip stick is showing good levels. Thank you I will update as soon as I know more.

Thank you, I will look into it tomorrow and see what I find. I’ll fill everyone in with an update as soon as I know more.

With sounds like this, I first try to determine if the sound is going 'camshaft speed', or 'crankshaft speed'. Camshaft speed being half as much as crankshaft, etc.

Sounds like camshaft speed to me? That might suggest something in the upper-end, such as a rocker (common failure) or a lifter. I'm only guessing though. Does it have a lot of miles on it? Like others have said, pull the valve cover(s) and take a peek. I wouldn't drive it until then. The most you're going to lose is few gaskets, beer and maybe a bloody knuckle or two. Better than dropping a valve and destroying it all.

Did the sound appear quickly or gradual? Any trouble codes? I would guess you'd toss some if you're missing a cylinder?

And prepare yourself for removing those valve covers! If you have AC that is!
You don't have to discharge the system to get the right (passenger) cover off, but it can be a bas**rd!

So the sound came after trying to start it on Saturday it made clunk noise and then wouldn’t start like the battery was dead. I got a someone to come help me who is a little more seasoned in mechanics. It does have around 250k miles on it. At any rate we jumped the truck off and got it started and the sound was there. The sound does slow down after starting the truck I have a longer video but couldn’t get it to upload to the message. I appreciate the response and will update after I have done more digging. Thank you.

Sounds like the flex plate (Flywheel) went bad. Also I worked on a F350 that a bad alternator made about the same sound as that. It was a 6.7l. Take the serpentine belt off and start it. If noise is gone start spinning all pulleys by hand including alternator and water pump. To me it sound like a spun bearing. On the alternator that sounded like that it fell apart inside. That clunk you heard could of been that.
