Hi guy i have a 04 f-150 4wd i have a knock in my steering rack when you move the steering wheel back and fort .I though it was the driver side inner tie rod but when i slid back the boot and my father move the wheel the knock is in the rack there is play in the shaft in the rack. Is there bushing in side that may be gone. Or is this normal. Can you rebuild the rack.Do anyone know where i can get a video or instructions on how to fix or rebuild the rack.

ive got the same problem, and im suspecting either inner or outer (or both) tierods.
