Help me help myself
I'll be driving Feb. 18th (I'm only 15), and I have a Four Door XLT 5.4 Trinton 2007 F150 that I got used a couple months ago. As of now, I have done nothing to it due to not having a job. I plan on getting a job when I can drive and thought yall could give me some ideas on stuff to make my truck look good.
Personally, the first thing I want are rims & tires 20's chrome & black preferably . I don't really care to much for a sound system, and I'm gettin a chrome toolbox for my bday so any other stuff?
I'm not a expert on trucks or cars, or anything close to it. So I probally won't know what yall are talkin about on some parts so if u could link me to them and/or show me them on ur f150 that'd be cool.

Most guys are gonna tell you to get rid of all the chrome on your truck. Grille, door handles, etc. But if you like it keep it! Personally Im not a chrome guy myself, I think it is too flashy. Get a leveling kit to raise up the front of your truck and even it out with the back. Tint the front windows to match the back. other than that you might want to tell everyone what look you are going for and they can help you from there....
At 15 I would have killed for a truck that nice. You've got the rest of your life to modify vehicles. Learn to do proper maintenance first and go from there. Get a Haynes or Chilton's manual and read it cover to cover. You're in a good position to have a vehicle that will last you a long time and that is great advantage once you get out on your own. Save your money when you're young and it will pay dividends in the long run.

Yeah no kidding, my first truck i didn't get til I was 19. it was a 91 F150 with a 300, and about 100k on it, had about 240k when I traded it for a new 03, i sure miss that truck.
i agree on the leveling kit. But I'd say just go thru the Pic forums and look at everyones trucks and see what you like. Make it yours, don't just do what everyone tells you.
Yea I'm not gonna do it all, just lookin for some ideas. I like the idea of tinting the windows, and I could do that once I get a job deffinately. I'll look into the leveling kit. Thanks for all help, keep em coming. I really like the chrome diesel.
Check out Tunaslayer's build its got a lot of good information and his truck looks killer! https://www.f150forum.com/f4/tunasla...ts-pics-71119/

I think you should get a 4 inch suspension lift with some 35x12.5x20 Nitto Mud Grapplers with some XD Monsters black. Then get some smoked head and taillights. Lastly get either Flowmaster or MagnaFlow true dual exhaust and it would be a pretty bad *** truck!
