I have seen people use peanut butter and I have seen them use heat guns to bring back the black, but have always heard that the products never last. Maybe this one figured it out. As for the Krylon fusion, hell yeah that stuff works. I did all my flares, toolbox, bedcaps, and front bumper with it on my Ranger. As with everything else, it's all in the prep. This is Satin black with adhesion promoter and no clear coat. Lasted for 3 years with no sign of fading.

Wipenew will start to fade after about 3 months, and really starts going 5-6 months at best. I'm a do it right, do it once kinda guy - krylon fusion is the only thing I've seen that lasts years, not months (or weeks if you wanna talk about back to black or anything of the sort)
