plasti dipped rims
#21
My plastidip peeled off, I did not do the back side of the wheels, they where very clean before I started. I also did my running boards, and noticed it shrunk on the running boards when it got cold, so I am thinking the wheels got cold and it let loose. I really did like the color.

So far I've only found the little Mitsubishi boys doing it. But you're right, it does look pretty decent. Once I get her level done, her new wheel and tire set-up, I'll definitely be attempting this before sinking more money into tail lights.

Will u be able to see the brake lights? Always heard of niteshading taillights as u can still see through it.

Apparently you still can, at least that's what they're saying. I guess you just have to be a little more cautious with the application method, and not spray it on as thick as you would for your wheels or emblems. And hell, if you can't see your brakes afterwards, you can just peel the stuff off.
