Anyone plasti dip their wheels? If so how does it hold up?

I've had my wheels dipped for about a year now. Driving in the snow and off road, they have shown no sign of wear. It holds up great.

use some tape on areas and pull it off before dry

What if you're doing multiple coats....do you have to re-tape each time? I was thinking about doing my rockers.

it's kinda tricky you have to tape it all off then spray it on real heavy in one good coat and before it drys pull it off because once it's dry the dip will come up with it

Just watch a video on YouTube. Ive never pulled the tape off like that nor do I recommend heavy coats because then you get runs.

thinking of plasti-dipping my bed caps bc they are beat up from grabbing and throwing things in my bed, yeah or nay?
