Default passenger window fell

So my passenger side front window fell down. It won't go back up. Do you guys think it is the regulator that broke?

your cable probably slipped off the spool.

I did notice that the cable was loose. Is that a common problem?

Had this exact thing happen to me. I took a poll on here not to long ago, yes this is by far a common problem. Your window regulator needs to be replaced. The good news is it's not hard! The bad news is it's about $50. Best of luck!

Well it depends, you really need to pull it out and take a look at it, if the wire just came off the spool then you might be able to get it back on tight, but these regulators are made to not be taken apart. Mine was in a tangled mess when I pulled it out. You never know. Keep us updated!

There is a little plastic piece that your cables are attached to to make the window slide. I guarantee this is the problem. they are known to break. I actually repaired mine with some thin metal wire and it works like new.

It is a pretty easy fix. Buy a quality unit if you can. I bought a cheap one off of Ebay and the motor is a little loud. Unfortunately it was on the drivers side, the one window that I ever use. It would not have been so bad if it was one of the other windows that are rarely used.
