Passenger Airbag Issue

Passenger Airbag Issue
Hey,
I just joined the forum in hopes of solving a small problem I have with my ’04 F150 and getting to know some of you guys.
Here is the problem: I recently removed the center console from my truck, to make room for my dog as we moved from Florida to Colorado. During the trip we noticed that the “passenger airbag is off” light was on (above thermostat) and the airbag indicator light was flashing on the instrument panel. I’m not positive this happened as soon as I removed the center console, as I didn’t notice it for a few days. Could the dog have knocked a wire loose (I looked and all my connections under the passenger seat look good). Is this some kind of “safety” feature? If so, does anyone know how to bypass this so I can leave the console out and get the airbag to work?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Jake
