Do you mean the light warning or is there something specific about the Parking Light that is making a noise.
You forgot to turn off "what thing" when leaving the truck?

Are you working on a Ford?

Please let the people now if you are driving a 2004 XL or a 2008 Limited.

I assume he is leaving his parking lights on when getting out of the truck. I would want to hear that sound chime so I could turn them off or the next sound you may hear is nothing when you go to start your truck due to a dead battery.

You delete the sound by turning off the lights.

In the 1992 to 1996 models, there was a chime box under the dash that was easy to get to -I used to unplug the wire harness if I had work to do in the cab with the door open.

If the model you drive has a sound box, you can probably unplug it just like I did. I don't remember how the 2003 truck I owned functioned, been a while since I got rid of that one.

I don't know if the warning chimes are computer controlled in a 2008 like the alerts in the new vehicles -I'm sorry I don't know how to disable it.

Might be one of the dumbest things I've heard on this forum. Seriously you want a dead battery every time you use your lights?

Why would anyone be just using parking lights all the time? I must be missing something??
