Painting Front Bumper Pad and Grill Surround

Painting Front Bumper Pad and Grill Surround
I have an 08 F150 XL which came with the chrome bumpers package. My question is, can you paint the plastic bumper pad that is above the chrome area on the front, as well as the plastic piece that surrounds the grill?
Also, is it worth it to do this or can I find ones already painted in my color easier and cheaper?
My final question is, would this look good with the chrome bumpers or should I look into getting the whole painted front and rear look? If so where do I start looking and pricing all these parts at?
Thanks,
-Kyle

very worth it, can be done very easily, just get your paint code and buy id say 3 cans of color and 2 of clear along with a can of adhesion promoter

Wouldn't the pieces need to be sanded so they would have that smooth look, just like the rest of the paint?
I'm thinking I wouldn't have the tools/equipment/expertise to properly tackle this project and would be happier with the results if I paid a body shop to do the work. Has anyone had this work done professionally and if so, what did you pay?
Thanks

yes give it a light sanding, they sell a spray that you spray on plastics so the paint wont chip, If you take it to a body shop it will run you close to $500, I spent $116 on just half a gallon of paint + reducer + clear + hardener came out to over $200 in materials alone, not to mention a body shop will charge about $60 an hour in labor.

Also, are you guys saying it's possible to paint over the chrome as well? Or just the plastic pieces?
