06 sluggish?

Default 06 sluggish?

hey guys i dont know if im just crazy but the last few days my 2006 5.4 seems to be sorta sluggish if you will by that i mean i find myself way into the gas to get up any hill or from adead stop just seems like the power switch was shut off lol!! and at low speeds like 0-40 it seems like it is really doggin and the exhaust kinda cuts out makes like a bluuuuuuurrrr sound instead of the agressive rumble sound could this be one of the coil packs goin bad or maybe the plugs and wires oh and there is no cel or anything and i dont think its missing atall or maybe im just crazy haha

no i have not yet changed the fuel filter but maybe that could be the culprit!! where is it located on these trucks im assuming right on the fraimrail somewhere?

Inside the frame rail under the drivers side of the cab.

You'l need a tool to get it off. Make sure you don't get a multi purpose one that works for the AC aswell because it won't work, trust me. Just get the regular fuel filter removal tool from your local auto parts store.

Try running a can of injector cleaner in it.Your will notice a difference.I did before i went with bigger injectors,fuel line and fuel pump.I still run it at times and oh ya,makes a big difference.I use a fuel injector cleaner called Justice brother.Its the best out right now.Only thing is tho,you cannot buy it at any auto store,walmart,only auto shops carry it.My buddy ordered me a case of it at cost.Your can go to their web page and order a case,but wont be cheap,lol.Hands down tho,out of any fuel injector cleaner out their,Justice brothers,and right behind that was Lucas.
