Default Painted wheels

I never really liked these wheels to much, mostly because of the checkered look they have on the edge of the rim. so this morning i changed that. i am satisified with they way it came out. looks much better imo.used flat black to still give a little contrast. i am definatley not a pro at painting so it looks much better from far haha. the white specks around the painted areas are from the tape i used so when it fully dries i will clean them up good. truck it filthy too so ignore that. and im still thinking about what im going to do with the center caps. either remove or paint as well

i bought the truck almost as it sits, the lift is procomp satge 1, tires are 35x12.5 toyo mts for now, but measure only about 33 inches right now haha (gettting some new tires in a week or two), as fr at the rims im not sure of the backspacing. they stick out pretty far, about 3-4 inches. looks pretty mean when staring right at it.

i actually did price out those tires, a little pricey for my pocket. i have no idea what im gonna get, was ready to order the mud grapplers but am worried about the wear on them, cant afford to replace $1,000 worth of tires every 15,000 miles. haha its a lot tougher decision with these bigger tires.

I totally agree here. They are a lil more pricey, but you get what you pay for. In this case, the added cost can be attributed to an aggressive tire pattern that performs remarkably in any conditions (i have tested mine (35x12.5 R20) in water, sand, mud, texas gumbo clay, working great in all of those conditions), but still keeps road noise down to a minimum. If i am cruising with the windows down, I can hear another trucks' tires over mine. Definitely worth the extra cost IMO. I only have 5k and 1 rotation on my set, but i think I will get atleast 40-50k as well from them (which is way more than my Toyo Open Country's gave me, 28k). Good luck in makin a decision.

Nice job on the paint also. I would have went with a true black match because I too don't like the checkered look on some rims coming out now, but they are your rims and if its the look you were going for, thats all that matters. Looks good either way.

Looks great, man. I say leave the center caps. Adds a little bit of "pop" and goes with your headlights.
