Default paint peeling

I've got a 08 FX4 with 2300 miles on it. I was looking under the hood the other day and saw paint peeling under the hood. on the pass side right where the black clip for the headlight locks into the fender... it's peeled down to the primer... I don't want it to spread... but I don't know what if any the dealer can do for it. has anyone else had a paint peeling issue on their new truck?

I've have an 07 screw paint looks bubbled out and is chipping on the lip around fender just on the inside looked at getting it repainted or rhino lined. At about the same cost will go with the rhino so I don't have to worry no more, I'd probably repaint the hood if I had that problem. I had a small scratch when I bought the truck dealer said shop would fix it like new, looks like they just put touch up paint on I personally wouldn't trust a dealer with paint unless they take it to a paint shop.

Default paint

I had a spot about 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser at the top of the driver door, I showed them thinking they were going to fix it correctly... they did the same thing and just did touch up paint...wanna charge me 38000 and then use touch up paint on it.... but I didn't want a freshly painted door to look different from the rest of the truck so I just took it... it's documented.. so if there is a problem down the road.. it's noted in the file.

That sucks. My 05 had rail dust all over it. my dealer had it detailed and that removed it. It has come back but it's not that bad. My 02 had cracks in the paint on the roof of the cab. It was cracking in the rain channel on both sides of the cab but I never did anything about it.

paint getting ****ed up is a pain in the butt

thats why i recommend if you have bed liner ditch it and rhino line it or use linex

it looks neater adds space and it gets rid of gaps where water can escape to

Default full tilt

I got the ext package, int package, sprayed in liner, glass for life, rims/tires covered for 100,000, 7yr/100,000 warr so I should be good to go for quite a while!! I know how to get the dealers attention too so I doubt I'll have an issue... I had a Ranger that the dealers said they wouldnt fix the brakes on at 18,000 miles... I put a sign on the tailgate and drove it through the lot said "don't pull out in front of me ford wont fix my brakes" I got stopped after about 25 min and went stright to the maint dept!!
