P2108 - Throttle Actuator Control Module
2004 Ford F150 FX4 5.4L, 135,000 miles
So just got this code today, P2108 Throttle Actuator Control Module Performance. I haven't been able to find any info on how to diagnose it using search on here and on Google. Only thing I could find is that it's for the power train fuel and air metering system, no other details.
For background, I also have the P2006 for the IRCM which I haven't had a chance to fix yet. I've also had the P2196 but recently went away and turned into P2195.
My O2 sensors are froze into my exhaust and I plan on replacing my cats with 2 high flow cats and new cat back exhaust system.
Any help? Don't have any vacuum leaks, PCV is good, ran some fuel injector cleaner, not sure what to do next. Thinking of replacing the fuel injectors just in case.

Remove your throttle body from the intake and clean it with CRC throttle body cleaner. Very easy job. 4 nuts and disconnect 2 plugs...clean your MAF sensor while your at it with CRC MAF sensor cleaner. Both cleaners can be bought at any local auto parts store.

I did both of those last week when I changed my oil. It wasn't that bad. Wouldn't think it would start throwing a code a week later.

Did you remove it when you cleaned it or did you attempt to clean it while on the intake ?

you may want to unplug the connector and check the pins inside it to make sure all's good and re-connect. Did you spray TB cleaner on the control bolted to the side of the TB ? it's funny that you now have the IRCM code after you had access to it with the TB off...you didn't drop anything in there did you ?

I've actually had the P2006 code for the IRCM for about a month now, so had it before this came up. Just been waiting for a full saturday to tackle that job.
