P0500 code,speedodometer not working

Excuse my ignorance if this has been answered before. Here is where Iam at with this issue.2005 F150 4X4 XLT 5.4,I have changed the sensor on the tranfer case,also the one on the rear diff, didnt solve my problem. So I bought a cluster from a local bone yard and changed it and still the same thing.All my gauges work properly but the speedo does not and it throws the p0500 code.The new cluster is still showing the other trucks milage.Since the speedo doesnt work,naturally my cruise doesnt either.Transmission shifts fine also.Iam spining my wheels here!! lol Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
