Hey guys, I have an 06 5.4 Lariat, 146K miles. Im now just running into my first problems (one of two) and was wondering if yall had any similar problems or solutions.

About 2 months ago, I sparked a CEL light, P0453 was the code which is the evapatory fuel pressure system.

I tightened the gas cap and reset the light, all was good for a few weeks then the light came back on again. I changed the fuel filter and did not reset the light, about a week later the light went off on its own. Well about a week ago it came back on...

Anybody have any experience with this and any possible solutions...

That evap system is all tied into your emmissions system. Those leaks can be extremely hard to track down. Ford dealership can hook it up to the smoke machine and pinpoint exactly where its leaking from.
